Yet, at her trial, they treat Patty as a rat.
They partly blame her as she has a part - a crime - seems atheist.

Patty braces, sit - a rat trap.
Years later, a liberal Pres. say that the trial, rat trap steal Patty’s spirit, best years.
Yep, it seem a real shame that this smart lass sit there, this shitty shell.
The Pres. liberates Patty - helps her escape this crappy trap.
At that, Patty cries her happiest tears.
